Insurance & Claims

University Risk Management (URM) has the following risk management responsibilities:

  • Administer the University self insurance programs, including the claims adjudication process and acquisition administration of procured liability transfer programs.

  • Develop written standards for use by the University and campuses. 

  • Facilitate risk management activities through such means as, but not limited to, the dissemination of current information or providing assistance in securing specialized expertise or equipment.

  • Consolidate and provide all risk management information and reports as requested by the Board of Regents, President or external agencies.

  • The following claims are processed:

    • Worker's Compensation
    • General Liability
    • Property and Auto Loss
